With this release of MAC support in all Iron Mountain Connected services it is now possible to handle any request for online backup for clients and servers. 

Iron Mountain Digital, the Storage-as-a-Service technology arm of Iron Mountain for backup and archiving, said at Macworld that its Connected Backup solution will be available for Mac users.

The Connected Backup solution lets businesses of all sizes protect corporate data, regardless of computer platform, through secure and reliable online data recovery, the Southborough, Mass.-based company said.

The Connected Backup solution with Mac support will provide Mac users fast, automatic backup without user interruption or IT intervention, Iron Mountain said. It also lets a customer's IT department control users' backups and restores both inside and beyond company firewalls, and lets them centrally manage distributed data backup from Mac or PC laptops outside of the office.
