Public Cloud, Private Cloud, and Hybrid Cloud: There are a lot of buzz words, hype and confusion surrounding the move of infrastructure, the hardware, operating systems and networking away from the Customer datacentre or data room to another location. The change in the commercial model is simpler to explain, from a capital investment model to a flexible pay for what you use model. As an end Customer you should not have to worry about the purchasing of processor cycles of mega bits of bandwidth. You need the most cost effective, appropriate and secure solution for your workloads.
At Cloudmore our Partners are tasked with understanding the Customer need and translating that in to a solution requirement that we then fulfill with a range of Infrastructure based services. They are Public, Private and Hybrid Clouds with many variations of processors, storage and bandwidth. Our backend technologies are based on tried and tested Microsoft and VMware platforms and to ensure the quality of delivery we require, managed by a company within the group.
Not all IT workloads should be moved to the “Cloud”. Simple questions should be answered: is this workload strategic to my business in terms of revenue or growth? Who needs to access the solution and from where? Is the bandwidth appropriate? Is the workload/application designed to run successfully in a distributed environment?
We are finding more and more that Customers and our IT Partners no longer want to own or run their own equipment and Cloudmore infrastructure solutions are ideal way of making this transition.
We also provide applications on top of this core technology such as Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Dedicated Hosted Exchange and SharePoint.
All Cloudmore services are purchased through a local IT Partners who can offer advice, help with deployment, configuration and on-going support.
